Pacific Northwest Ballet

The Pacific Northwest Ballet commissioned a three-minute piece of music and movement to accompany it featuring students of the program for a fundraiser in 2019. I worked with the choreographer on set to ensure his vision was supported by the technology, and then later with the agency that produced both a VR and HoloLens experiences to showcase the work.

Human movement is perfect for volumetric capture, so much so that individual moments can be captured and turned into 3D prints. This particular session made for a delightful tabletop sculpture.
