Siduri Wines
Siduri Wines is part of the Jackson Family Wine group, and working with Rock Paper Reality, a San Francisco based agency with a technology first focus, they produced one of the first (if not the first) WebAR marketing activations for the beverage industry.
The creative direction came from Rock Paper Reality. My job was to be the creative liaison with the agency, helping to modify the creative where needed, but also to take chances where the pay-off would be worthwhile (there’s a story in there somewhere about a couple of high powered leaf blowers and a fan 2/3rds as tall as most human beings), while always making sure that there was a ‘safety’ in the can if we needed to fall back. The end result was a delightful campaign that helped elevate the Siduri wine label recognition.
Since this first campaign, multiple brands, from 19 Crimes to Coca Cola have used volumetric video and web AR to produce compelling and differentiating content for their brands.
